Road approval, ABE & dB values - what you should know
A motorcycle exhaust is subject to strict legal requirements. These are important:

The dB Killer (also called dB Eater) plays a central role in this. It reduces the volume to the permitted level and is mandatory for many systems.
If you don't find out about the various options, such as ABE and the like, before tuning, you quickly run the risk of attracting the keen eye of law enforcement officers on your next ride. In addition to the amount of emissions emitted by the motorcycle exhaust, the system determines whether the bike hums, roars, roars or screeches in a sporty manner and how loud the whole thing can be heard.
