Multivariable footrest systems with various adjustment possibilities
The footrest system is one of the most popular motorcycle accessories, not only for race enthusiastic bikers. The systems from our shop convince by a modern design and high product quality. Variable systems contribute to a high riding comfort, as they help the rider to find the right and improved seating position.
High quality motorcycle footpegs from Gilles.Tooling
Gilles.tooling is not only a term for professional racing drivers. All products of the company speak their own design language and score points with optimal fitting accuracy and a high degree of user comfort. The company is one of the few manufacturers that are a one-stop shop and its own workshops, from the initial idea to the ready-to-sell product that you as the end customer can purchase from TecBike. The footrests, for example from the AS31GT series, are milled out of solid aluminium in state-of-the-art machines. Precision is as much a priority as the design, which is lovingly created down to the smallest detail. This also applies to Rasten pillion riders.
You can find motorcycle footpegs in our shop in many different designs. When it comes to racing parts, an adjustable footrest system is an important accessory for the rider. They allow the rider to take the optimal position on the bike. At the same time our products convince with high fitting accuracy - an assembly without any play is therefore possible on your bike.
The rest system for rider and pillion rider
In everyday life rest facilities usually receive less attention. They are sanded and even regularly trampled on. If a fall occurs, they often lose their head. Nevertheless - no motorcycle can do without them. For this reason, it is not only a question of appearance to take care of it. When their time has come, we recommend an early replacement with multifunctional new parts.
An aluminium rest system is not only hellishly beautiful, it is also a masterpiece of modern technology. It does not matter whether they are made of round or flat material. Whether its surface shimmers naturally matt or is colourfully anodised is a question of your personal taste. All you need are a few steel screws and maybe a little carbon here and there and the exclusive eye-catchers are ready.
Adjustable detent systems for the rider score points not only with their gorgeous looks, they also have other practical advantages. Thanks to multiple adjustment options, they can be individually adjusted to almost any rider size. So it doesn't matter anymore whether you are a stately 1.95 m tall or only 1.65 m. The same applies to your shoe size. If a standard footrest quickly reaches its limits, our footrest systems allow you to adapt your bike perfectly to your physical conditions.
Which footrests should it be - comfort or rather racing rests?
Even if they seem rather unimpressive at first sight, motorcycle footrests play an important role for the riding feeling and the handling of the motorcycle. In our shop you will find equipment with different sharp points.
The rather soft looking comfort rests primarily protect your shoes. However, if you want an optimal grip at all times, these attachments need a sharp and strong bite. Their prongs on the upper side are correspondingly pronounced. They are often referred to as racing or racing resting. Do you love the fast cornering? Then you will appreciate a secure hold of your shoe soles. In this case, we recommend sharply serrated rest systems. This also applies to the pillion footrests: While the passenger in the car can sit back and enjoy the landscape, the pillion rider must always pay full attention, especially when driving fast. If the brakes are applied hard, your passenger must be able to support himself not only with his hands on the tank but also with the rests.
A question of appearance - anodized or would you prefer natural aluminium?
What is the so-called anodizing? This is a kind of surface refinement - a chemically applied protection of the surface. Which kind you decide for depends on your taste on the one hand. There is also the question whether you belong to the year-round drivers. While machines that are only moved and cleaned a lot in the nicer and warmer months of the year usually have very little to do with salt and co. Wetness, changing temperatures, dirt and above all salt promote corrosion. Unprotected aluminium surfaces quickly become dull and rough, they require more care.
Our footrest systems for motorcycles have, with a few exceptions, a TÜV parts certificate or an ABE. You have questions about our range? Talk to us, we are happy to help you with words and deeds!
