Brake and clutch levers - Better modulation and ergonomics
Brake & clutch levers - Better modulation & ergonomics
The crucial connection between rider & machine
Do you know the feeling when the lever feels a bit doughy when anchoring hard before a corner? Your hands are the most direct points of contact with your bike. This is where you decide how precisely you brake & how cleanly you shift gears. An upgrade in this area changes your entire riding experience.
The disadvantages of clunky original levers
Why actually replace them? Cast levers from the factory are often a compromise for the masses. They are clunky, heavy & can usually only be adjusted in a rudimentary way. The result? Cramped forearms on long tours & a lack of feedback when you're riding at the limit. That doesn't have to be the case.
Advantages of CNC-milled accessory levers - precision & stiffness
This is where high-quality accessories come into play. CNC-milled from solid aluminum, they offer you exactly the stiffness you need for a crystal-clear pressure point. Nothing flexes, nothing wobbles.
- Maximum feedback - Feel exactly what your front wheel is doing.
- Less weight - Every gram counts, especially on unsprung masses & bar ends.
- Great looks - Anodized aluminium immediately enhances your bike.

Full adjustability - adjust the lever distance to the size of your hand
Every hand is different. So why should you adapt to the lever? With adjustable levers, you determine the reach yourself. Whether you have small hands or ride with thick winter gloves - a quick turn of the wheel and the ergonomics are perfect.
Folding lever (folding design) - protection against lever breakage after a skid
Do you ride a lot on the track? Then you know the risk. A harmless slip & the rigid original lever breaks off. Game over for the track day. Folding levers simply fold upwards on impact. Stand up, ride on. A massive advantage when the going gets tough. A quick side note: When buying, make sure you know whether you are looking for parts for the road or for chasing lap times. Many special racing parts in our store are pure race track parts without road approval. So check the description briefly before heading out onto the public track!
Short vs. long levers - which setup suits which riding style?
Spoilt for choice. Which suits you better?
- Short levers (Shorty) - Perfect for two-finger brakes. Offer a more agile look & prevent you from pinching your remaining fingers during hard braking maneuvers.
- Long levers - Offer a little more power thanks to better leverage. Ideal if you like to anchor with four fingers or often have to pull the clutch in stop-and-go traffic.
Notes on smooth installation & adjusting the play
Have you decided on your preferred setup? Installation is usually plug-and-play, but requires care. Make sure the clutch lever has the correct play. Too tight & your clutch slips. Too loose & it does not disengage cleanly. Don't forget to lightly grease the joints so that everything runs smoothly.
A small upgrade with a massive impact on the riding experience
Conclusion? If you want to feel your bike better, modulate more precisely & take the look to the next level at the same time, there's no getting around new levers. Grab your tools & turn your bike into your own personal weapon.
