A major problem: the transmission shaft protrudes too far out of the transmission and can bend when shifting hard or fast. The result: the gears are not engaged properly.
The Gilles Shiftholder helps to overcome these shifting difficulties and additionally stabilizes the shaft. A brass bushing is used as a bearing for the shaft, which is hard anodized. The Shiftholder is available in titanium.
