High reading accuracy due to vernier scaling; series tolerances can be compensated by applying the scaling. Rear wheel position can be read off in "mm". Rear wheel mounting is made easier. Axle is supported against tensile and compressive forces. Simple assembly. Optional lifters and stand bolts for easier jacking up of the vehicle. Optional crash pads to protect the axle and swing arm from damage.
