The heating wire consists of a nickel alloy whose resistance changes with increasing temperature. As soon as the maximum temperature of 85 degrees is reached, it is kept constant. All other competitive products work with a conventional heating wire and require a thermostat, which leads to constant temperature fluctuations

Capit has been producing professional tyre warmers since 1996. CAPIT's products are the result of intensive testing in cooperation with various racing teams. CAPIT is not only the sponsor of V. Rossi, but also official supplier of Ducati, Yamaha and Suzuki. CAPIT tyre warmers are used everywhere in motor sport (Moto GP and Superbike World Championships). The outer material of the tyre warmer consists of a Teflon layer and is therefore extremely durable - the inner fabric is made of NOMEX and is resistant to fire and water.

All Capit tyre warmers are preformed to fit the tyre contour. This makes mounting on the tyres very easy.

The operating status can be read via an indicator lamp. An additional safety pin prevents the tyre warmer from tearing.

In contrast to conventional systems, the heating wires of all CAPIT tyre heaters are sewn radially to the direction of travel, thus heating 75% of the tyre surface. This means: The sewn heating wire is more than twice as long!
