Exhaust systems from Bodis & LeoVince
More looks, more sound, more power - these are the most important criteria that lead a biker to change the "bag" on his motorcycle. A successful motorcycle exhaust is a feast for the eyes and at the same time gives you something to listen to with its great sound. Unfortunately (or fortunately?) the same applies here: Not everything you like is allowed. Our range offers you a diverse selection so that you don't get into legal trouble:
- Complete motorcycle exhaust systems
- Manifolds
- Silencers
- Slip-on
- Sports exhaust for many models
Bodis exhaust technology
Motorcycles are a passion. This love is reflected in the high-quality products from Bodis. The company has over 40 years of experience in processing stainless steel and titanium. The development and design of innovative exhaust solutions from the Bodis brand has become an integral part of international motorcycle racing. The performance-enhancing, sound-optimized and visually elegant Bodis exhaust systems score points with their high quality and outstanding performance.
Bodis exhaust systems can help to improve combustion efficiency and increase engine performance. To meet the high demands, Bodis offers various sound options, from homologated mufflers with db-killers to racing db-killers for use on motorcycle race tracks. Bodis exhaust systems have a unique, aesthetic design that sets them apart from other exhaust systems.
At tecbike.de you will find a large selection of silencers from Bodis for various motorcycle brands such as double round silencers from the GPX2 series, conical silencers from the GPC-1 series, pentagonal silencers from the P-TEC II series or square silencers from the V4-M series.
LeoVince exhaust
As one of the leading Italian manufacturers of high-performance exhaust systems for motorcycles, LeoVince has a large fan base worldwide and a strong presence in the tuning and racing scene. LeoVince exhaust systems offer good value for money, which makes them attractive to many motorcyclists. They are also known for their distinctive and powerful sound, which appeals to many riders. In professional racing, LeoVince silencers are popular with professional riders because LeoVince exhausts are designed to improve the performance of the motorcycle, often by optimizing the torque curve and increasing power. At tecbike we offer LeoVince exhausts with the unmistakable LeoVince racing sound in titanium, carbon or stainless steel for BMW S1000RR.
From the connecting pipe to the silencer - the exhaust conversion
Standard exhaust systems are subject to ever stricter guidelines. This is usually at the expense of the associated silencers. They are getting heavier and bigger, but the sound is getting thinner. Mufflers and silencers from Bodis or LeoVince are quieter and offer an individual look for the motorcycle. They also usually sound significantly better than their standard counterparts.
What's more: In many cases, these products also offer a power output that may well exceed the original values. The torque is noticeably more linear. The stylish motorcycle accessories can also score points in terms of riding dynamics. A significantly lower weight improves the riding dynamics of your motorcycle. As a rule, replacing a motorcycle exhaust is easy - after all, it's not for nothing that changing a motorcycle exhaust is one of the most popular tuning measures.
You'll also find everything you're looking for in terms of accessories. From exhaust covers to exhaust brackets, exhaust protectors, clamps and heat protection tape.
Slip-on or would you prefer a completely new system?
If you want to replace the exhaust, you have two options. You can choose a complete system from our range. This ranges from the cylinder head outlets to the end cap of the silencer. Alternatively, we offer so-called slip-on solutions.
With this variant, you get an attractive alternative for your existing rear silencer. It is a real eye-catcher on any motorcycle. The replacement is comparatively simple.
First, remove the standard counterpart. In the next step, simply slide the new accessory part over the now open pipe. Hence the name slip on. If the focus is on appearance and sound, this variant is the most practical solution. The manufacturers of these motorcycle accessories are allowed to operate within a legally prescribed range of five percent of the registered noise value of the standard system.
The volume, which is measured in decibels, or dB for short, increases progressively with the value. If a standard system is registered at 95 dB, almost 100 dB can be achieved with the accessories. Manufacturers such as Bodis leave a few percent buffer from the outset. This avoids any problems.
Compared to complete systems, the stylish accessories for rear silencers score points with a significantly lower purchase price. Anyone hoping for an increase in performance here will usually do so in vain.
If you want to treat yourself to a new complete system with manifold, the catalytic converter must not be missing from the manifold system for most motorcycle models registered for the first time in 2006 or later.
Usage - an important question for the purchase decision
How do you ride your motorcycle? Do you ride it exclusively on the road? Do you use it equally on the road and on the race track or exclusively on the race track? This not only has a significant influence on the permitted noise level. Racing tracks in Germany are subject to ever stricter noise regulations. A good and open silencer is part of the basic tuning for exclusive sports use. In combination with a sensible set-up, this is the first step towards more power. However, noise is becoming a real problem on more and more racetracks. That's why we recommend it: Base your tuning on the tracks you want to ride on frequently.
Approval for road traffic
If an exhaust system is approved, it has a so-called E number. This is permanently stamped on it. It is important to note that not every exhaust is approved for every motorcycle. exhausts are usually homologated for specific motorcycles. We have listed the appropriate types for our motorcycle accessories in our store. So you are always on the safe side. We are happy to answer any questions you may have at any time.
